WASHINGTON PARK WORK SESSION SET FOR SATURDAY

Springfield, IL…The Springfield Parks Foundation is having a work session to help plant and weed at Washington Park on Saturday, September 25 beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Individuals or groups interested in helping with the ongoing beautification project should meet at the north end of the Washington Park Lagoon, near the new boardwalk. For more information, contact Sally Cadagin at 546-5840.

The Springfield Parks Foundation is a not-for-profit fund raising organization dedicated to enhancing the use, growth and preservation of the city’s community parks.
