SCREAMING VATOS CLOSE OUT THE MUSIC IN THE PARK SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

Springfield, IL…The annual Music in the Park Concert Series comes to a close this Sunday, September 19 at Douglas Park, 400 N. MacArthur Street with the Screaming Vatos taking the stage from 4-7 p.m. The concert series is free to the public so bring a lawn chair or blanket and have some family fun.

"The Screaming Vatos have been thrilling crowds with Santana, Bob Marley and War Tributes, as well as a variety of Latin Rock, Rhythm and Blues, and Soul favorites from the late 60's & early 70's.

Hardees will be on hand with food and beverages for sale to the public.

The concert is hosted by the Springfield Parks Foundation and sponsored by the Springfield Park District, Hardees, Illini Bank, Watts Copy Systems and Illinois National Bank.

The Springfield Parks Foundation is a not-for-profit fund raising organization dedicated to enhancing the use, growth and preservation of the city’s community parks.
