SUNS OF CIRCUMSTANCE TAKES STAGE AT MUSIC IN THE PARK CONCERT

Springfield, IL…Suns of Circumstance takes the stage to perform Sunday, July 25 at Lincoln Park, corner of Sangamon Avenue and 6th Street, as part of the annual Music in the Park Concert Series. The concert is hosted by the Springfield Parks Foundation and sponsored by the Springfield Park District, Hardees, Illini Bank, Siciliano, Hanson Professional Services and Illinois National Bank.

Suns of Circumstance have been playing in the Springfield area for over 18 years. They play mostly classic rock with some blues and reggae mixed in. They play known favorites as well as their own original music. Suns cut a CD five years ago that was followed by a national tour, playing in cities including Denver, Minneapolis and Chicago. Their musical style is inspired by bands such as The Allman brothers, Greatful Dead and Little Feet.

The concert series is free to the public and runs from 4-7 p.m. Concert goers are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs or blankets. Hardees will be on hand with food and beverages for sale to the public.
