SPRINGFIELD PARKS FOUNDATION ESTABLISHES FUND AT SANGAMON COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

SPRINGFIELD – The Springfield Parks Foundation has announced the establishment of charitable fund at the Sangamon County Community Foundation (SCCF). With an initial contribution of $12,500, the mechanism is now in place to accept major gifts for the variety of programs and services supported by the Parks Foundation.

“This Fund will compliment the fundraising activities already being done by the Springfield Parks Foundation” said SPF President, Cathy Schwartz. “We believe establishing this fund at the Community Foundation will give donors another charitable option to memorialize our community’s beautiful parks.”

To contribute to the fund, make checks payable to: Sangamon County Community Foundation, Springfield Parks Foundation Fund and mail to: Sangamon County Community Foundation, One West Old State Capitol Plaza, Suite 503, Springfield, Illinois 62701.
